A meet and Greet and Roundtable discussion will be led by Prithul Kumar, MD, NFDC.

At the networking event, Ramkumar Vijayan, Consultant (I&B Desk), Film Facilitation Office-Invest India will give a presentation to the international stakeholders about the Film Policies and the potential of co-producing with India. A run-through of the working of the Film Facilitation Office, India’s single window mechanism, will also be given, which promotes ease of filming in the country.

The discussion shall entail topics such as Benefits for Canadian Film Producers for filming in India and how the Co-Production treaty between India and Canada can be revisited and activated for the mutual benefit of the film industries of both the countries. Similarly, Telefilm Canada and Ontario Creates will present the avenues for the Indian filmmakers to produce with Canada.

As a celebration of the cinematic achievements of India and Canada, the countries seek to explore and promote the potential of filmmaking across mediums such as Feature, Short films, Animation Projects, OTT content, and Web Projects.
